“ I tried there boba it was very delicious. Customer service was fast , friendly and efficient. The atmosphere looked nice and clean i'm definitely coming back soon. ”
“ I was in the mood for sushi and wanted to try someplace new. While driving along Federal Highway, I remembered this place on N. Andrews Ave. where I can enjoy some. Lucky Cat Street Eatery is a small cozy restaurant offering a variety of Asian-fused dishes. The restaurant had a few people dining inside and steady customers coming in to pickup their orders. I greeted a female employee who allowed to sit at an available table. Their menu was vast and the prices was reasonable for the items listed such as: * Poke bowls/ramen * Bento box * Hot & cold appetizers * Soup & salad * Sushi: basic roll/making/combo * Rice/noodles/desserts * Soft drinks/boba tea/fruit tea * Hot sake/bottle beer/house wine I placed my order for hot green tea, California roll, and fried gyoza. The tea and food arrived at my table pretty quickly and it all looked amazing. The green tea was hot and soothing. The California roll was freshly prepared and delicious. There was less sodium soy sauce available for dipping which added a bit of flavor without being too salty. The fried gyoza was also nicely prepared and the sauce it was served with was lightly sweet with a touch a tanginess. I enjoyed it so much I ordered some more gyoza but this time steamed and it was as delicious as the fried gyoza. Service was satisfactory. I was checked on in a timely manner and the empty dishes was removed when needed. I look forward on returning to try a different dish. If you are interested in learning the basics of making sushi rolls, Lucky Cat has a sushi class on Saturdays & Sundays for $45 per person. Check out their social media page for more information. ”
“ Always amazing. The spicy miso might be a new fave for me. We were sat immediately even though they had a sushi making class going on. And just so you know the pork belly is an additional $3. But the food here is always great in flavor and portions. ”
“ Lucky Cat is a good place to go for a bite. My sister and I wanted sushi and we were in the area, so this worked out well. She had been here before, it was my first time. I was surprised that it was so close by and I hadn't heard of it, but I'm not as up on the restaurants in the area as she and her husband are. The service was good and the food was good. Their sushi is fresh, which is kind of important when you're dealing with raw fish. Although I don't think I've ever been to a sushi restaurant where it wasn't. I'm pretty sure that would get them closed down. They have a good variety to choose from and we walked away quite content. ”
“ I was looking for something close to my hotel. I drove about 7 minutes from the Sheraton and arrived around 7ish. When I arrived, I almost thought it was counter service. But the attendant told me to sit at a table and they will come to take my order. I sat in a booth and she came to take my order. The iced teas were 5 dollars, so I thought about doing a taro tea. For dinner, I chose the eel rice bowl (16 dollars). I would have assumed that my tea would come quickly, but it didn't come. My sauces and other utensils came for my eel instead. My eel came after 15 - 20 minutes. It had an ample portion of grilled eel, and came with pickled radish and cucumbers. The eel was nice and soft. It didn't have that many bones. The sauce on the eel was on the sweeter side, but not too much. The pickled radish and cucumbers were fresh and a nice addition to the dish. The service was friendly and helpful, but it did take some time to get my food, and I never got my tea. I didn't mind not getting the tea as it was getting late, and I can understand the wait for my food as there were quite a few people and only a limited amount of staff. The dining area looked pretty small, but I was glad I found a seat with no wait. You could see the small kitchen as well. It was relatively quiet that I could hear the smooth jazz music in the background. Lucky Cat is located next to Chipotle in a small plaza. While the eel was pretty good, I think it would be better that you just order at the counter, then they bring the food to you. But it is still a convenient restaurant to have sushi and other Japanese bites near the hotel areas. If it didn't rain, I could have walked there as well. ”
“ Went for their sushi classes that they host every month , I think is Fri sat and Sunday, which is a great concept. You pay $45 and you get to make 3 sushi rolls which is a great deal. There is bubble tea to order from , wine but there is no complete bar. The class was super fun ! And the staff was amazing. Everything was great and the food was tasty there are also ramen options in the menu but I can barely make it through roll number one let alone a whole soup would come here again. ”
“ The sushi making class is a must. For $45, you get all the supplies you need to make 3 delicious rolls, and it really is so much fun to learn how to make your own sushi. You can be as creative as you want, but they will give you suggestions and help you out. They truly accommodated as 1 person in the party did not eat seafood, so instead, they got chicken and vegetables to make the sushi. They were also accommodating with allergies, which is always a great thing when you experience food related allergies. They were super friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved the neon sign and greenery wall. The decor is simple but was perfect. They also offer a full menu to sit down and eat, ranging from sushi and ramen to corn dogs and boba tea. It's located in a strip plaza off of 95 so it's convenient to get to. There's also plenty of parking to be had. All in all, this is a great spot to visit. Whether you're going in for lunch or dinner, or to enjoy the fun sushi making class experience. ”
